Walk the Talk Goes to Subic

Over 300 hundred Lopez Group employees including their family members and friends trooped to Morong Nature’s Park in Subic for the monthly Walk the Talk activity held last February 26, 2011.

Wellness 101: The Journey to Wellness Begins with the First Step

Consistent with the Lopez value of concern for employee welfare and wellness, the first Wellness 101 Course for the year, organized by the Lopez Group Foundation, Inc. and Lopez Lifelong Wellness,  was conducted last February 8-9, 2011 at the Eugenio Lopez Center.  Thirty five (35) employees from various Lopez Group of Companies completed the two-day interactive course on wellness.

Shrieks, Screams and Laughter: The Lopez Group's Mt. Pico de Loro Adventure

Pico De Loro in Ternate, Cavite as some Lopez Group executives, employees, their family members and friends climbed their way up to the summit during a trekking activity organized by the Lopez Group Foundation, Incorporated and Lopez Lifelong Wellness.

LGFI and Lopez Lifelong Wellness Conduct Flu, Dengue, and Typhoid Forum

The rapid increase of dengue cases in the country this year became very alarming.  A recent announcement from the Department of Health stated that the number of dengue cases from January to August has already reached a total of 69, 594.  This figure is 99% higher than last year’s 34, 997 for the same period.  There were already 501 deaths recorded compared to 369 last year and DOH fears that at this rate, cases could reach a record-high 80, 000 this year.
